The pages keep turning, yet my memories refuse to fade. A year has slipped by in the blink of an eye since my college days drew to a close. While many things have changed, one constant remains - the friends who got me through it all.
Together we weathered late night study sessions, early morning classes and everything in between. Our bond grew stronger with every challenge we faced side by side. As the years rushed by in a blur of school projects and thesis defenses, little did we know our time together was limited.
Reality came crashing in after graduation, whisking us off to separate corners of the world. Now life's journey has us each pursuing our dreams, yet the journey is lonelier without my trusted travel companions near. Through text messages and Facebook updates, we strive to keep our connection alive despite the miles between.
On stressful days when work seems never-ending, my thoughts wander back to simpler times. I remember inside jokes that still make me laugh and adventures that bring a smile. In those moments, all worries fade as I get lost in memories too sweet to forget. I may not have a way to turn back the clock, but no amount of distance can weaken the bonds we forged.
